Tehran: The anti-Hijab protest that started in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini has reached the stage of the FIFA World Cup. The people of that country were jubilant after Iran was knocked out of the World Cup on Tuesday. Their argument was that this loss is not of the football team, but of the government. And that is why they are celebrating. However, the result of opposing the government was not met. An Iranian resident was shot dead for celebrating Iran's defeat. This is the claim of a right-wing organization.

Iran played against America in the World Cup match in Qatar on Tuesday night. Iran lost that match, and bid farewell to the World Cup with it. After the defeat of the country's football team, a section of the country's citizens started celebrating. There is much discussion and criticism about this celebration of Iranian citizens. The Iranian football team's celebration of defeat to oppose the government also drew criticism. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, there was news that one person was shot dead by a security guard.

It is known that a 27-year-old man named Mehran Samak was shot dead by Iranian security guards. Allegedly, after the loss of the Iranian football team, Mehran was celebrating by honking the horn in his car in Bandar Anjali city, northwest of Tehran. A right-wing human rights organization claims that Iran's security forces killed him as a punishment. They said that the security forces shot Mehran Samak straight in the head.

The Center for Human Rights in Iran organization in New York informed that the young man was shot and killed for supporting the Iranian football team. However, the Iranian government has not yet commented on this matter.

Incidentally, recently Iran's football team also protested against the government in the stadium itself. Iran's football players were silent when the national anthem of Iran was played in the match against England on November 22.
